Following our first ONE by ONE: Student Voice event, we were inspired, challenged and motivated to continue to elevate student voices to inform the work of supporting a high quality public education system. Our children truly deserve to be heard.

We gave the community a chance to read the projects of the 20 winners from the Fall 2016 PowerUP Jax cycle, and vote for the one they found most innovative and impactful in a two week Lightning Round. The contest has closed, and a winner has been selected.

Twenty teachers were selected to receive grants from the Community First Cares Foundation to fund innovative projects in their classrooms, and now they each have the chance to win an extra $150 to put toward their project – but they need YOUR help!
