Meet the Superintendent finalists

The search for Duval County's next superintendent of schools will make a major advance this week. Today and Tuesday, five finalists are in Jacksonville meeting with the Duval County School Board and Envisioning Committee (of which the Jacksonville Public Education Fund is a part). The public is invited to attend these events, especially tonight's Envisioning Committee meeting (find details on our events page). So who are the five finalists? Keep reading for a rundown.

The ONE in THREE art exhibit has been an incredible asset to the ONE by ONE campaign over the last year. It started with a groundbreaking run at the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens, and then in January began traveling the community, hitting every part of town through August of this year, when it was set to "retire." Thanks to an incredible offer from Mayor Alvin Brown, ONE in THREE will remain on display for another month, this time in the City Hall Atrium.
